No. 483 / 2012

Stepped into Gamla Stans Cykel (my local bike shop) this afternoon, my goal was to buy a new set of pedals with SPD mechanism to go with my new SPD shoes. I mounted them right there in the shop and then tried them out. I looked at the rack sack in the store, and have now decided to use one on my soon to be attached back rack.
I mentioned to one of the bike shop owners that I had been thinking of upgrading to a Brooks saddle, but that I was very pleased with my standard issued Brompton saddle. After all, I have ridden over 3000km on it.
Ten seconds later I am the proud new owner of a Brooks B17 select World Traveller Limited edition 2012 saddle! Gamla Stans Cykel was kind enough to sponsor me with a new saddle, which I now have a couple of weeks to break in! 
Nedless to say, I'm very grateful to have such great support!
